Non-Sterling Transactions

How your international purchases are processed

If you make a non-sterling purchase, the transaction will be converted into pounds sterling at the Visa exchange rate available at the time of the transaction. The Visa exchange rate can be found here on Visa's website. In addition, you will be charged a non-sterling exchange fee as set out in your card's terms and conditions. When using the Visa calculator, please ensure that the Bank Fee field is updated to 3.0% for EUROS and USD and 4.0% for all other currency conversions.
